I was blessed to be a part of our church's High School Girl's Camp this year for three days in Farmington, Illinois. I was a counselor for the Compassionate Cancunians "cabin", though this camp can hardly be called camp at the Old School Center with beds & sheets, an auditorium, and even a Tiki Bar!!
Our theme was Reflecting the Son and our theme verse was 1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
Erin Funk, a prior acquaintance from my Champaign days, was my co-counselor. We had a fun group of girls, none of whom I knew before the weekend but all of whom I'm thankful to have met: Lindsay, Eleiha, Sherayah, Kaylynne, Kelly, Sami, Heidi, and Jessa.
